Positive Choices at the TUC Wales Conference
Positive Choices was represented at the recent TUC Wales Health and Safety reps conference in Cardiff through Mind's ‘Taking care of business’ campaign, which focuses on the need to improve mental health in the workplace.
100+ delegates attended workshops that included 'tasters' of ASIST and Mental Health First Aid, generating lots of excellent discussion and requests for follow up information.
The project looks forward to working with TUC Wales to train more people in suicide first aid in 2012.
