Mind Cymru attends WAG Charity Challenge Summer Party

20 July 2010: As one of three chosen charities of the year for the Welsh Assembly Government, Mind Cymru was invited to attend a Summer Party, held on 8 July 2010 at the National Museum Cardiff and hosted by Dame Gillian Morgan, Permanent Secretary of the Welsh Assembly Government.

The party was an opportunity to both showcase some of the talents of people who work for WAG and to highlight the work of the chosen charities; to raise money for them and to thank the staff at WAG who have worked hard this year to raise significant amounts of money for Mind Cymru's Positive Choices Project.

Mind Cymru and mental health are clearly important to the staff at the Welsh Assembly Government, who made comments such as "Mental health is so important in Wales", and "I think mental health is really important because I have a family member, (or a friend) who has had mental health problems".
